About Debby

Painting by Lisa Iris

I’m a Vietnam Era disabled veteran, divorced and have 5 wonderful (grown) children. I also am blessed with 7 wonderful grandchildren. I love writing, the outdoors, working & playing on my computer, politics and Kitten! (Not necessarily in that order!)

I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for my BA in graphic design but haven’t finished due to financial reasons and my writing of a historical romance novel has been on hold due to the fact that I am now homeschooling Kitten and just life happening, I don’t have the time.

I have worked in administration (the Marine Corps and several veterans organizations), been involved in my town’s government, owned my own business, designed a couple of websites, written & published a short story and write poetry, worked as a co-editor of an online ezine, love making graphics and doing my art.

I have studied & practiced Wicca for over 15 years. Even though my spiritual path has lead me closer to the gnostic realm, I still hold close, some of my Wiccan ways & beliefs. I do believe that gnosticism is very close to a lot of the Wiccan ways and it just seems to me, a most natural combination!

I have chosen Brigid for the yang of Barry’s ying, Patroness Saint of Gnostalgia.

Disclaimer:

It is really sad that one has to state the obvious, but in today’s world, it’s a necessary bad to have to do, so here goes.

What is written by me is my personal opinion and not of anyone else’s. Even though Barry and I do agree most of the time on issues, events and wordly affairs,  what I state here is totally my opinion alone! So, if you have any issue with what I’ve said, leave a comment to my posting or email me.  Should you be mature and state your case nicely, your comment will be posted. Otherwise, BITE ME! 🙂
