New book: Vacationing With Ghosts

16 Jul

A new title has hit Amazon Vacationing With Ghosts by Sharon Day. As most of you know, I absolutely love her and her work. In this book, Day gives us  “an account of [her] childhood summer home and the haunted local area, told from the point of view of the author as a psychic child in the 1960s and 1970s. This nostalgic look at Mobjack Bay and the quiet inlet where the family’s summer home was located is both a beautiful accounting of a magical time and place, and also an insightful view into how a psychically sensitive child deals with an ever-changing landscape of spectral comings and goings. From stories of pirate ghosts and blue orbs of floating lights in the graveyard to the lonely female ghost screaming on The Bay, Sharon Day transports the reader with her to dark and misty inlets, unsolved mysteries, quirks of nature and other realms using the very insights she utilizes today on her popular blog site, Ghost Hunting Theories.” (http://www.ghosthuntingtheories.com/)

Biography
Growing up in a haunted manor home in Virginia that was used as a field hospital by both the North and South during the Civil War, I never stopped asking questions about the paranormal and seeking answers. My book based on this upbringing, “Growing Up With Ghosts” was a Crow Awards 2013 nonfiction winner.

Now, I run a top paranormal blog, “Ghost Hunting Theories,” and have authored numerous books from horror fiction to social commentary/urban fantasy to nonfiction paranormal to dark erotica as the penname Anna Melissa. I am published in paperback and Kindle format on Amazon including “Abandoned Places: Abandoned Memories (Desert Edition),” “Zombie Housewives of the Apocalypse,” “Zombie Housewives of the 1960s,” “Paranormal Geeks,” and “Growing Up With Ghosts.”

Just a little read on my blog at Ghost Hunting Theories and you will find an example of what I’m like. I don’t hold anything back. You can find everything from humor to serious theories in the field of paranormal to tips on how to photograph abandoned sites.

You can often hear me on the radio show Paranormal Geeks Radio at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/paranormalgeeksradio on Tuesday nights at 9 pm EST.

My upcoming books include:

“Zombie Housewives of the 1970s,” “The Hunt: Ghosts” (romantic horror), “Pagan Bloodlust,” and “MetaNet” (Scifi/horror)
