I believe one of my biggest mistakes during my time at College was bringing my game system to my dorm. Not only did I lose plenty of time gaming that should have been applied to study, but I often found my dorm room filled with people that I didn’t know and my refrigerator empty. I’ll never forget walking back to my room, and finding it full of people, only to be told by an occupant that the room was full and I would have to come back later. I quickly let him know, in no uncertain terms, that this was MY room. Aw, the good old days.
If you are a little nostalgic for the games of the late 70’s and early 80’s, you might take a look at “The Console Living Room” (link). This page allows you to relive those old gaming days (yes, I am that old). The games can be played in most modern browsers.
These games are best enjoyed in an up to date version of a modern browser. Currently, there is no sound in the games, although that feature will be added soon. Please read carefully regarding key mappings of the games and programs, to use them in your browser.
