Review: Transparent Lovers

Transparent Lovers
Scott Nicholson
PS Publishing

( 5 stars out of 5 )

Another fun novella by Scott Nicholson! Richard Steele is a detective on a mission, and that mission is to solve his own murder. Steele has only until his funeral to solve his own murder and move on to what he hopes is heaven. The tale has an old “film noir” feel to it with this hardboiled detective. Even the name smacks of a detective, Richard (Dick ) as in detective.

I loved some of the lingo used by Steele. I think my favorite was “black as Goth pudding.” I plan on stealing — ahem — borrowing that phrase.

Wonderful paranormal detective story hitting the powerful themes of faith and love. I give it a solid 5 stars out of 5.
