(4 stars out of 5)

“Paul is Undead” by Alan Goldsher is insane. It’s insane fun.

Yes, I know it’s another one of those zombie books. This time its the Beatles who get the zombiefication. In this blood splattered tale, the Beatles want to eat your brains. I’ll let you make the connection between rock and roll and devoured brains.

Paul McCartney, and his zombie allies Lennon and Harrison find themselves hampered in their quest to rock out and eat brains by super ninja Ringo Starr. Watch out Paul, there is a zombie slayer out there named Yoko Ono.

The story is way over the top. I got a good laugh out of it.

On the downside, I wasn’t impressed with the art. Although, I liked the cover.

I give it a solid 4 Ringo Starrs out of 5.

I received this complimentary book from Gallery Books for review purposes.
