(4 1/2 stars out of 5)

Revenge Served Cold by Jackie Fullerton is an excellent murder mystery with a touch of the paranormal. This is the first of Fullerton’s books for me, but it wont be the last.

Kathy Spence is framed for the hit-and-run murder of her husband Professor Elliott Spence. The case against her is air-tight. In desperation, she turns to an amateur detective Anne Marshall for help. In one of the best twists of this novel, Kathy receives help from an unexpected source, her late father.

Revenge Served Cold is a quick and easy read. It’s a great book for the beach or for an afternoon read. I loved the paranormal angle. It certainly isn’t your typical whodunit mystery. The characters are some of the best that I have read this year. Each character is rich, deep, and important to this story.

All in all it is an excellent read.

I give it 4 1/2 ghostly fathers out of 5 …

I received this complimentary copy from The Cadence Group for review purposes.
