(Barry’s score 5 stars out of 5)

The superheroes of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are Mina Murray (Dracula), Captain Nemo (20,000 Leagues Beneath the Sea), Alan Quartermain (King Solomon’s Mines), Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and The Invisible Man. As you might expect from a comic book, the superheroes are assembled to thwart some over-the-top mission. In this case, the MacGuffin is dominance of the 1898 skies.

While much of this steampunk romp has the feel of a comic book, I would warn parents that The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is targeted for a mature audience.

I enjoyed the artwork and the story is fun, having said that, the Allan Quartermain Allan and the Sundered Veil text story is excellent. Taduki for everyone!

I give it 5 stars out of 5 and recommend it for the adult steampunk fans.
