Have no fear my dear Gnostalgia readers, I have not slipped into the Christmas fru fru so popular this time on year. Instead I gather the Christmas ornamentation about the blog as one might indulge in the ugliest Christmas sweater contest at a party. My heart still longs for the dark return of the Krampus, and for the chill of a well-told Christmas ghost story.
To that end, I offer a story called “A Warning to the Curious”, a ghost story by M. R. James with Christopher Lee playing the part of James.
M.R. James wrote the creepiest little tales ever! One of my all times faves.
Makes me want to read all of his ghost stories.
