Since I did this last week, I thought that I would bore you with another edition.
Books: I am reading “The Great Game” by Lavie Tidhar. It’s a very quirky steampunk novel for those of you who want their steampunk with a twist of unusual.
Games: Still playing “Garden of Time” on Facebook, I’m level 50. Stop over, sign up, and add me as a neighbor. I need a few more neighbors to expand my garden size.
TV: Enjoying Graham Norton on BBC America. Although, the funniest part of watching the show was when a friend said that she couldn’t understand a thing they said. lol
Music: “The Dark Tower” by Nox Arcana. It is like having Halloween on a cd.
Peppy: The little dog is slipping up on his job. A squirrel is trying to make off with an armrest from the swing on the back-porch. It’s one thing when the little bugger steals cotton out of it for his nest, but to take the entire armrest! Twice, I have found the armrest snagged in the wisteria! Peppy chase him off! The game is afoot!
Breakfast: I didn’t sleep well, maybe all of two hours. I blame the full moon. I’ve skipped breakfast and hit the coffee hard. Traffic was nice this morning and I didn’t mutter any vulgarities. I can’t say the same about last week when a Canadian cut me off only to slam on her/his brakes.
Thought for the day: The only cure for insomnia is to get more sleep.
Get some sleep and no Peppy treats until he scares away the squirrel.
Damned squirrels, eh? Peppy needs to eat some energy foods, perhaps?
Are you SURE it was a Canadian? We’re nice, we’re friendly and polite. Maybe it was a stolen Canadian car; maybe he was lost; maybe it was just a plot to make you THINK it was a Canadian! Ha! That’s it – it was a plot! Could it be the beginning of the plot of a new steampunk runaway hit book?
Whaddya think, Barry?
You may have put your finger on it. It is an evil plot to besmirch the good name of Canada in an evil attempt at world domination. I sense a conspiracy.
