That’s right, Destination Truth will have a new season despite struggling with ratings. Things looked pretty bleak for our world famous traveler. However; Syfy finally decided to pull the trigger and give DT another season.
This season Josh and the crew will investigate: Transylvanian vampires, Mayan ruins, Vietnamese phantoms, and will return to the haunted forest of Romania.
Sounds like a blast!
I’m sure that there will be plenty of laughs and adventure. I have to admit that Ghost Adventures and Destination Truth are my guilty pleasures.

I’m with you on those guilty pleasures. I want DT to go on indefinitely. I adore that show! It’s taking me on the dream hunts around the world and Josh and I have a very similar sense of humor and love of Khaki clothing. I’m excited they’re going back to the Romania Forest and I also would love t see them go back to Suicide Forest and Doll Island. Oh, and some day, he needs to go to Santa’s workshop! Hee hee. I was writing a LAUGH episode on that. I need to finish it. It was pretty funny. Maybe for next Xmas.

This is good news indeed. Glad they are going back to Romania. And yes, they need to re-visit the Suicide Forest in Japan sometime in the future. One very creepy place.
Here’s hoping that Erin Ryder will remain on the team. She’s tough as nails and very funny too. Perfect partner for Josh.
My only wish is for them to cut out those GH spots re: evidence. IMO those folks are not “experts” in any way, shape or form and cast a shadow over DT. Josh has no need of their assistance.
I’m sure that they will find a way to get Ryder into a bikini *wink*

I hope so. Sadly, there are only 7 episodes in the works and they wont be on until early 2012.
I’m glad. It always cracks me up when the DT crew treks off after the latest swamp monster. They’ve really done some fascinating paranormal investigations. That American military hospital in the Philippines, Chernobyl, and Masada were excellent.

I’ve been a fan of the show since it first started in 2007. I love the adventures and the interesting events that happen. I remember their first episode were they went deep to the jungles of Africa to look for the Iguanodon. I wish they would go back there and I wish they would go back to look for the Yetty and the little alien people of Chile where they found the remains of little aliens in the desert. Hopefully they will do a lot of episodes for season 5.
I do hope that this is true cos I love Josh Gates and his team! I think they are more scientific than the other shows like them and I think that they have done a great job so far!
Maybe people dont like it if they dont find the stuff that they’re after, but hey, at least they have done very well trying to find it the right way.
Absolutely in LOVE with DT. Been Pretty Sad its not been on tv in a while. I check listings every day in hopes of even a rerun playing, just to have my dreams dashed. Definately glad there is going to be a new season

I LOVE DT AND JOSH GATES. I AM SO GLAD SYFY IS GIVING THEM ANOTHER SEASON. I HAVE WATCHED SINCE DAY ONE AND WILL CONTINUE TO WATCH AS LONG AS IT IS ON, WHICH I HOPE WILL BE A LONG, LONG TIME. NEW SEASON STARTS MAY 23RD?.

I love this show it is my favorite I am so happy they didn’t cancel the show it seems like every time a decent sow comes on it gets canceled but the really stupid shows will stay on for 10 seasons just don’t make sense to me
