“[It] is a haunted inn, and we’re just getting ready to finalize everything on it,” Hawes said, adding, “We’re going to open it back up. It was a very well-known inn; it just needs some work, and we’re going to have to fix it up and open it back up and go from there.” Will the well-known ghostbusters turn the inn into a theme park? “No,” they answer in unison. “It’s already got its own reputation,” Hawes said, adding: “We spend so much time in New Hampshire as it is. We’re always up there camping and staying there with our families. … This opportunity opened up, and I stayed there years and years in the past, the wife and I both had personal experiences. [I] saw a child run down the hall, and, there were no children there, so it was just very interesting what happened that we’re able to acquire it.”
Well I guess they have to do something with all that money!
That’s great about the Spaulding. I live right down the road from it, I am happy they are going to do something with it, it’s a shame to see it just sit there. Perhaps a different color would be benifical as well. Welcome to the neighborhood guys, can’t wait to see what you do with it!!
Lori
Oh, and also, this is bear country, be careful about leaving garbage or garbage cans anywhere where a bear can get to them. Even an over-sized garbage container (like they have behind restaurants) will not keep them from climbing in (trust me!!
You’ll see your fair share, and get use to them. Enjoy! Lori
I was actually surprised to hear they did this. Not in a bad way, I just didn’t know this interested them. The episode about the inn was great. It was awesome to see the GHI team there, I like them as well as the GH team. I would wish them the best of luck as well. They seem like great guys and I wish them much success. A lot of negative things have been said about Jay and Grant but they are the best. Down to earth, normal people. I would love to be in their shoes, my dream would be to actually experience the paranormal. It’s got to be incredible.

Yeah Thats amazing, I right down the road of Lori and the area is pretty kickass. I love leaving food out for bears because my friends and I have a game where we try and spray paint a name on the bear when they eat so if you see a bear with spray paint… hahaha. yeah but…
There isnt much to do in NH except go to car shows and drink beer. its alot like the south except for some reason we are in the North… mmmkay
My husband and I have had several experiences together and apart, with the paranormal. We are interested(maybe)in staying at the inn owned by Jay and Grant, during our fall tour. Friends have called us ‘ghost magnets”, which we don’t appreciate at times. We are your typical middle aged married couple that like to cycle about town. We have watched the ‘show’ since TAPS started, and want to say it’s a great move for Jay and Grant in the business world to owned a B&B.
Well, we used to go camping in NH ourselves a lot a few years back. We lived in Mass at the time and it was a short and cheap excursion with the kids.
I don’t know where the hotel is and I haven’t seen any pictures of the restored hotel at this point. Where can I see some (website?)?
Good luck renovating (I know the pains of it and rules and regulations and laws and sprinkler systems and all other required things to open up an inn!)
Post a new picture sometime when you have one. Will come down and stay a night.

Oooops never mind. I saw it on MySpace. Nice!
actually it was some great entertainment, but really people they did get a bit ridiculous, the times i watched it – like i said good for some laughs!
Has Ghost Hunters ever thought about a road trip to Montanna and the Bighorn Battlefield? said to be #2 in hauntings in America. The 7th is Restless!!
I love watching the show and even more so I would like to see jason and grant in action running an inn and let the customers or people who stay do little investigations. I have been a fan of ghost hunters since they were working out of that little trailer talk about moving up. They rock! Love you guys! You should come here to nc and do an investigation at one of the old schools/ jails/hospitals in cumberland couty!
